A CT scan done in Oncology (General Cancer) is used for treatment planning and is usually done before your treatment begins. In most cases there is no pain or discomfort during the CT scan.
While the scan itself only takes 2-3 minutes,
you will most likely be in the room about 30-60
minutes.
